Welcome to the gastronomic universe of the J.Z. Peking Duck restaurant complex — a place where history and luxury intertwine.
On the first level, you will be greeted by the legendary bistro Qìng-Fēng (Tsing Fung), founded in 1948 by the China Institute of Health Food. This is an atmospheric space where the rebellious spirit of Beijing, the spirit of southern hospitality of Canton, the bright colors and lively emotions in the spicy zest of Sichuan, and, of course, the Shaanxi atmosphere of tranquility coexist harmoniously.
The J.Z. Peking Duck, a premium restaurant in the complex with a majestic Imperial Hall and 13 exquisite VIP rooms, ideal for important business negotiations, friendly or family celebrations, as well as the private atmosphere of a romantic dinner, opened its doors on the top two floors.
It's not just the kitchen that's important to us, but the whole experience. The J.Z. Peking Duck restaurant complex is about the atmosphere, interior details, presentation, and aromas that create a special mood in which Chinese culture is vividly revealed.
We strive to ensure that every dish conveys respect for traditions, depth of flavor, and mastery of execution. The restaurant features cuisine from 6 regions of China: Beijing, Shandong, Cantonese, Hunan, Sichuan, and Shaanxi. Each area is assigned a separate Chinese chef, with a focus on the specific cooking techniques of the region, which allows us to ensure the authenticity of the recipes. A special place in this is occupied by the signature Peking duck, the preparation of which is overseen by Chef Liu Dian Hua, the keeper and successor of the “one‑dish chef” dynasty in the third generation.
Discover the world of authentic Chinese cuisine.
